Queen Mary N.H,
March 31st

Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}

just a line to let you know the job went off on Monday morning according to plan, rough passage at first, but now going on well. Inside of nose still much swolen and will be for a week or more yet, but I think the inlet port area will ultimately be increased by about 100%, which should give the breathing capacity of a 4 1/4 litre with Merlin induction system!
Expect to leave here Monday, and hope to start to Hove on Wednesday, Yours Sincerely
