Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 27th. inst., we have examined the sample of H.T. Ignition Cable. The puckering effect is due to the fact that the outer layer of ozone-resisting material has not the same degree of elasticity as the rubber dielectric. When the cable is bent sharply this outer layer tends to wrinkle up on the inside of the bend. We do not consider that this puckering will have any detrimental effect on the cable, but we do advise that any sharp bending should be avoided if possible.
