Dear Sirs:

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 6th inst., and note your remarks regarding the Radiator Thermometer with special capillary sent to you on the 31st ult. We regret to note that the union nut was not included on the Thermometer but if you will kindly return the instrument to us, marked for the attention of the writer, we will have the union nut fitted and returned as quickly as possible.

Referring to the last paragraph of your letter regarding the extra cost of the special capillary. We will go into this matter next week because at the moment our Works are entirely closed down.
