This seems very simple, (considering existing conditions very neat looking, and directly to the purpose, and one hopes it will prove strong enough. The cover over the starting handle shaft needs a better catch. On inspecting this from under the car I noticed .5" thick of aluminium packing under the front springs, which no-one could account for. It lifted the car 1.5" higher at the front than it need be. I noticed that the old type bonnet fasteners were in use still, and that there were no shutters. I did notice the size of the radiator tubes with extra depth, and bonnet shutters: these should be the larger size. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
