Rff 2/8 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) VP 306975 X3573 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To G.F.C. Order No. 4D.15. Customer's No. X 3573 20. Oct. 1928 "Bakelaque" Sheet Insulation. This material, which is of British manufacture has been submitted as a possible substitute for our present Continental Bakelite an American product. This class of insulation is used solely for parts on the low tension system of the car, but one of these is the L.T. distributor terminal where there is a washer fitted. The cloth base quality of Bakelaque is similar to the Continental Bakelite and has a good finish. The paper is a little uneven in colour. As a general comparison of quality, leakage and breakdown tests have been made on the standard and Bakelaque materials, the leakage tests being made (Cont-d) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
