10,000 MILES TEST CAR, 6.B.IV.

We are wanting to run the latest anti-judder scheme N.Sch.4865, on 6.B.IV. This car is now in France with an obsolete anti-judder scheme. Will you please fit to this car the parts we are sending out to you, using the shoes and drums at present on 6.B.IV.

To the present axle on the car please fit standard brakes and add to them the parts to N.Sch.4865. The shoes have a special lining. The tipping shoes are to be set solid (N.B.).

The aluminium drums on this car are not quite the latest and there is insufficient clearance between drum and steering pivot. Please make certain that no foul will occur at this point, the pivot which you will use again has already been filed away.

Please slack off the damper on the swinging arm; we want the car to run its mileage like this.

Templates for fitting N.Sch.4865 are included with the new parts, and we attach the necessary drawings.
