I have spoken to Mr. Fedden and he has made all the necessary arrangements for you to visit Mr. Frieze at the Bristol Aeroplane Co., to have a discussion with him as to how we can fit the 40 mm. cannon in the Beaufighter. Mr. Fedden also wishes you to have a look at the gun turret. He is of the opinion that this turret has advantages over the other types which are being used.
