You may remember seeing the Scintilla magneto which Mr. Hives brought down for your examination some time ago. The proprietors of this are Brown, Boveri & Co.Ltd. Scintilla Ltd. are now offering us dynamos and it is thought that owing to the excellent workmanship of the Scintilla magneto, we possibly might like to consider obtaining a Scintilla dynamo in accordance with the offer contained in their letter, copy of which we attach. You will notice that the price of the dynamo in quantities of 100 is £14.10.0 delivered Derby which appears to be a reasonable figure. We are also sending you with this note the blueprints of the dynamo and switchbox which Messrs. Scintilla submitted to us, together with a copy of the translation of the notes contained on the dynamo blueprint.
