With reference to the trouble you are having
with rubbers of varying consistency on production.

Will you please arrange that the test for
their deflection should be altered to one-tenth of an inch
deflection for 250 lbs. load plus or minus .005".

Rubbers that are Mr within these limits should be assembled
selectively if necessary to give equal balance on the engine
feet as we do not think we can expect the manufacturers to
make them more consistent than this.
