Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd DERBY Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 18th instant and confirming the writer's telephone conversation with Mr Leslie, we shall be pleased to receive from you particulars of the thread required in the lubricator for both the rigid control recently made up for you at your works and the flexible control. We regret to note from your letter that the control erected by our fitter does not work with the freedom you expected and as promised we shall be pleased to make up a smaller control in rigid outer casing to the template our fitter brought away with him, and we think this will work even more easily than the control you have at present. We will also make up one flexible control with a lubricator if you will send us the necessary particulars of the type of fitting you wish us to supply.
