X7220 PHANTOM CHASSIS. X7220 X7250 On G2B. series, the engine is pushed forward, bringing the fan .500" nearer to the matrix of the radiator. This produces an objectionable noise when the shutters are full open. We have carried out tests to cure this and find that the fan must be brought back to its present position i.e., the top fan blade 1.500" from matrix (nearest position). there is a slight noise still, but not objectionable.
