44-PKI
EAC. 'V' SERIES.

This car will arrive at Gerrards Cross tomorrow evening. We will send with the car a report shewing what features have still to be modified on that car to make it into a complete 'V' series.

As this car is the first EAC. which has been tested by Sales fitted with an enclosed saloon body (which is considered to be the worst type for bringing up noises etc.) we should like the Sales critics to give their opinion on this car.

We should like to have the car back in Derby by midday on Monday as by that time we shall have further new parts ready for fitting.

It might be possible to get some of the Coachbuildin Committee to try the seating position on 44-PK car. We shoul like them to check the dimensions of the seat because by our measurements we consider the seat is 1" high. This figure however depends upon how much the cushion is depressed before it is measured.

We should also like them to note the position of the thrust race on the steering column which comes very close to the top of the scuttle.
