W/S. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 1339 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}3/R.24.11.37. LARGE TYRES ON BENTLEY. Replying to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}6/KW.18.11.37., we have fitted 6½" silent tyres to Lp{Mr Lappin}'s car while at the Works. As regards Db{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}'s car, we think the best thing would be for him to keep the rear wheels until he has worn the tyres out; let us know the mileage and then return the wheels to us. We do not think that he will appreciate large tyres on the front as he has got the worm and nut steering, and long pendulum lever. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
