To Hx. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/E18.9.35 - 3 - Paragraph 11. The chunking in the drive is definitely bad and unacceptable in its present condition. It is noticeable both when pulling at low speeds and on decelerating. In view of Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s absence I suggest that the officials to whom I have sent copies of this memo. should meet together and decide on the various points. One of the things which concerns me very much at the moment is whether or not we ought to send this car to Paris because, frankly, in its present condition from the point of view of Item 8 in particular we feel that it is not good enough.
