Trot Salt - Carburation}7/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 7th June 1938. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. C.T. Salt. We duly received your letter of the 3rd inst. and note that you are interested in our Automatic Jet Control for use with two normal S.U. Carburetters, horizontal type. There is considerable power available in our unit but we have not so far had occasion to use one in conjunction with two Carburetters. We suggest, therefore, that you try the unit and form your own conclusions. As requested we are arranging to send you a unit on loan account immediately. Regarding the set up of the controls as the writer hopes to be at your Works one day next week, might we suggest that the matter is discussed then as it is a little difficult to give all the information in a letter. An appointment has been suggested with Mr. Steadman and perhaps you could arrange for the same day. Yours faithfully, For S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. THERMOSTATIC CONTROL DEPARTMENT. To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
