the gutter, some difficulty was experienced in closing them.

The piping around the door openings were of a large section, say 5/8" and very soft, which like the Cadillac, fitted snug up to the very soft cloth on the door which gave a sense of silence when closed.

I rode first in the front tubular seats which were very comfortable, and gathered speed very quickly to 60 m.p.h. There was neither squeak or rattle in it. It was first up on the kerb and down again several times which was hardly noticeable, and then I changed to the rear seat. This was rather too upright and the foot wells had very little room in them. I could hear the spring in the blind roller was rattling, but nothing more, although it went over their piece of test road it was still silent. The tyres seemed beautiful and soft and the steering was perfect. Mr. Sclater took his hand from it and even on this rough road it steered a straight course for considerable distance. He felt awfully bucked with its performance and told me to get it reported to R.M.

This chassis was of theboxed type section and in-dependent front wheel springing and crucifix cross members. X
