21st. Aug. 1924.

Messrs. Rapson,
Burlington Rd.,
New Malden,
Surrey.

Dear Sirs,

We regret that we have not sent our usual report on the Rapson tyres but the Works have been closed for the annual holiday, also several members of the Staff have been away.

We attach herewith for your own information only, a graph showing the mileage of the tyres used on our cars running in France.

We are also sorry to have to report that the last 4 Rapson tyres you sent us requesting that they should be run in England have been sent to France and have been fitted to a car out there. We will send a report on them as soon as possible.

At the present time we are not covering much mileage on 33 X 5 tyres in this country.

We have noted your remarks re. tyre pressure and will get it confirmed what pressures are being used.

As regards the 33 X 4 1/2 tyres - we will let you have the final report on these shortly.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED.
