COPY. X4027 R1/M22.10.31. X5770 X4027 BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} CAR WORK - NEW DESIGNS. JAPAN 3. & PEREGRINE 1. PEREGRINE. To avoid waste and delay it was understood that a copy of any drawing of new parts that was in a suitable condition for transfer should be sent to WW. for approval by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} before, or at the same time, as it was issued to the detailing section. JAPAN 3. Also, prints must be sent of all parts detailed from WW. schemes at the same time, or before issue to Works. EXPERIENCE. We fear it will cost much in money and delay if alterations are required to the parts later to correct misunderstandings which always arise through the original scheme drawings not containing all the information that we have collected. The drawings you send will also be useful for design work in hand. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
