Use of washers for thin and soft instrument dials supplied by Cambridge Instrument Co.

- 2 - I may just mention that Elliotts find that the dials supplied to them by the Cambridge Instrument Co. are so thin and soft that it is necessary to employ a good size washer under each of the two cheese-headed screws securing the dial to the instrument. On examining the Weston instrument I found that similar washers were employed; therefore I agreed to the use of the washers by Elliott Bros. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
