Dear Sir,

Re: Bentley 3.B.50.

We have decided to ask you to make for us a third body for the B.50 chassis. It will be a 4-door 4-light Saloon, fundamentally as drawn on PD.280 of which you have a print in connection with the mock-up. We wish to use a back and boot as used on the Wraith standard Saloon, which we saw at your Works on Wednesday, and a drawing 1/16 scale, and a specification will be sent to you in a few days for this body.

In the meantime we wish you to go ahead with the F.S.D. for wood and alum construction based on that which you used for the Exp. Wraith cars.

We will issue the necessary official order, and would be glad to receive your initial invoice of cost.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
WM Harvey Bailey
CHIEF ENGINEER - CHASSIS.
