Dear Sirs, We would like to draw your attention to the recent world records set up by Mr. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Parry Thomas, during which a standard Marles Steering Gear supplied by us was used. It is interesting to note that it was necessary for Mr. Thomas to steer with one hand only at this great speed, as according to the Press report, he had to hand feed the lubrication owing to the automatic system of doing this breaking down. We think this instance of the command given by this steering gear over a car travelling at the terrific speed of 172 miles per hour may be of interest to you.
