To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x 340 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.7/KW.9.10.35. Anti-Splash Baffles for Phantom III Radiator Top Fork. As a result of tests which we have carried out, we have discovered that owing to the arrangement of flow from the top tank inlet pipes, the water piles up in the filler tube and steam chamber on the latest Phantom radiator, resulting in leakage. On. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2183 attached we show a scheme for preventing this. Will you have the necessary baffles and fittings made and fitted to a Phantom III top tank. We shall require this tank to be fitted to a Marston Mark VI matrix to E.87003, which we are expecting to receive shortly from the Makers. This matrix will be fitted up with top and bottom tanks etc., and forwarded to Hancock to fit to his car in France. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
