X1487. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/AD. July 15th, 1932. Mr. Skinner, The S.U. Company, East Works, Bordesley Green Rd. Adderley Park, Birmingham. Dear Mr. Skinner, With reference to your letter of the 13th inst. I thought I had written to tell you that we found an old 1 1/4" carburetter here and ran it on our engine but found we lost an appreciable amount of H.P. compared with the 1 1/8" model which we have been using up to the present. We are therefore carrying straight on with the two small carburetters we have which we fit to the same pipe as the Phantom II system. Yours sincerely, | ||
