Cox - Advertising Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/WJ.28.5.31. X.7120. X.7960. PHANTOM II CONTINENTAL MODEL. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E27.5.31. We find that we shall not be able to change the axles over from 26-EX. to 27-EX. due to the fact that 26-EX. has the narrow track and 27-EX. the wider track. We are therefore arranging to have the higher gears built up into an axle suitable for 26-EX. We think this is the most important thing to do because it will show whether the Continental cars you are at present selling could be improved with a higher axle ratio. We expect to be able to send this axle to Cricklewood on Monday June 1st. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
