Comparative Drags of Rolls-Bentley Body B.23.AE. and Van Vooren Body.

The Rolls-Bentley body was identical with that tested in August 1933, with cycle type wings and vertical radiator ( see Rep. Ref.RKP/24155) and was 1/8 scale.

As the two models were of different scales they could not be used for the "reflection" of one another. Instead a flat sheet of metal to represent the ground was placed under the model. The effect of this can be gathered from the previous report referred to above.

The second model was to 1/10 scale and was well streamlined with a clean undershield.
