Contd. -4- EFCl/T26.6.26. but it is a point about which we are not quite certain at present and which will bear further investigation, because it does have some bearing on the question of the satisfactory use of a generator and controller subject to ideal control from the generator point of view. Perhaps the most practical method of test charging a battery with such a charging characteristic is to insert in series with the battery an invariable external resistance of .25 ohm and charge the battery through this resistance with a sustained voltage of 17.0. We propose to do this as an experiment and observe whether the capacity of a battery is to any extent reduced as compared with charging at definitely constant current. EFC. | ||
