SpectreCodename for Phantom III - Front Suspension, etc.

Herewith is N. Sch.4176 shewing some stronger springs for the cross and side steering ball ends, to increase the friction.

It is suggested that the 400 lbs spring should be fitted to the cross steering tube ball ends, as a first experiment in increasing friction. The others can follow if found necessary.

We also send N. Sch.4175 which shews an application of a plain thrust, submerged in oil, as on standard Phantom, combined with a needle roller journal bearing, using existing pivot and yoke piece. It is suggested that this experiment should follow the increased friction on the ball ends, should the latter prove insufficient to cure the steering joggles.
