| -2- It would appear desirable to have the air-vessels which receive the oil, close up to the oil gun connection; in fact, so that the oil passes from the gun straight into the air vessel without passing through the felt. The felt could be interposed between the air vessel and axle system, so that its delay would not be a nuisance to the man oiling, but if anything an advantage. This would give the most rapid filling system when using a gun. In any case we believe it is intended eventually to lubricate the axles from the one-shot chassis system via the shock absorbers. This would be the best solution of all. Approximately 50% increase in the capacity of the Bijur pump and tank would be required. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Tsn. | ||
