B.N.1582 - Mould for Rubber Seal (British Tyre & Rubber Co's. drawing)

Please receive herewith blueprints of the following drawings :-

RE.2226    Bottom Pin.    1 Off.
RE.2227    Locating Pin.    3 "
RE.2228    Top Pin.    1 "
RE.2229    Top Plate.    1 "
RE.2230    Bottom Plate.    1 "
RE.2231    Assembly - mould for seal.    1 "

The above drawings have been produced to enable the pieces to be made.

The British Tyre & Rubber Co., have undertaken to manufacture the seals if we supply them with the mould.

Slight modifications have been made to enable us to use standard drills and reamers, and we would suggest that the details are submitted to the Rubber people to ascertain that we have not upset their allowances.

The following piece is also required for use with the above :-

1/4" x .312"    Standard Grub Screw    2 Off.

This completes the instructions for the above.

Kindly instruct us as required.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.
