YOURS Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.8/AP OURS WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}/RS{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} IN YOUR REPLY Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd. D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, Chassis Frames FB.3009 We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 18th instant, and are sorry to learn that you think the price we quoted is very high. It is the quantity which dominates the figure, and if it had not been for the comparatively small quantity, our quotation could have been very materially reduced. Our estimate was based upon a good quality mild steel, and not the 3.5% nickel steel which you suggest. Torque Arms We shall be despatching the first pair of Torque Arms early next week. Yours faithfully, THE PROJECTILE & ENGINEERING CO: LTD CHAIRMAN & MANAGING DIRECTOR WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}/RS{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} AJC | ||
