Dear Sirs,

We would refer you to our letter of the 26th. February, regarding your order No. 17572, in which we point out that this order must be covered by either an exemption category, or a licence, under the Iron and Steel Control Order (No.6) 1940.

We shall be glad to hear if you can now quote an exemption category or a licence number to enable us to enter the order. In the meantime this order is held in abeyance pending receipt of the necessary information.
