There will probably be certain drivers who will have to demonstrate the new 4-wheel brakes on October 10th, who have so far had no experience of these.

It is therefore very important that I should have available as soon as possible this Cabriolet in order that a certain amount of familiarity be gained by the use of this car by these officials.

I understand that the hood of this car requires a certain amount of work. Also, the underframe has to be painted and, if time, a coat of varnish all over.

It is no good undertaking work which cannot be finished in time. It would have been useful if this car had been available for next week-end, that is, the 4th to 6th October.

Will you please ring me up on Monday morning, in order that I can discuss this matter with you and know exactly how it stands.
