EAC. SILENT STARTER.

Reference your AJSl/M9.1.26.

We send you our D.O. diagram of connections for sequence silent starter, in which the various circuits have been suitably coloured, as follows :-

(1) Actuator Box & Teazer Circuit. Red.
(2) Main Switch & Actuator Box Contact Circuit. Green.
(3) Heavy current Circuit through Main Switch and heavy Series Coil & Relay Switch. Heavy black.
(4) Relay Switch hold-on Circuit. Light "

The resistance about which you enquire is the resistance in the green circuit in parallel with the main switch operating coil and this is the non-inductive resistance shown on LeC.1802. There is no other resistance in the whole scheme.

We have arranged or suggested no alterations to the electrical circuits with any idea of these becoming permanent, and I think you will find that the diagram herewith is electrically precisely R's original scheme. Naturally, of course, we have to vary the coarsenesses of the various windings in order to obtain the desired result, as these are quantities which can only be approximately guessed in the first instance.
