X6056 NATIONAL ACCUMULATOR COMPANY LIMITED. TELEPHONE: SLOANE 6368. TELEGRAMS: NATIONACCU, SOWEST, LONDON. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: 50, GROSVENOR GARDENS, LONDON, S. W. I. HEW 17th June, 1931. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr. H.E. West. Dear Sirs, Mr. West asked me if I could find out for him the capacity and weight of the Young accumulator on the 4 litre Bentley car. Owing to the Young Co's proposal to go into liquidation and wind up the Company, it is difficult to get any information, but in the enclosed catalogue you will see that the battery is stated to be of 90 ampere hour capacity and if it is a genuine 90 A.H. capacity it would probably have a total weight of around 128 lbs. I do not want the catalogue back again, but I think Mr. Bailey wanted to see it, so perhaps you would be good enough to show it to him. Yours faithfully, G.R.N. Minchin | ||
