| CG/C261033 26th October 1933. W.Watson, Esq., Messrs. W. Watson & Co., 100, Renshaw Street, Liverpool. Dear Watson, Re Bentley Cars for the Summers Family. I should be glad if you would please let me know how you are working this out, as we are rather getting at cross-purposes. I understood that you were reserving one of your January chassis for Mr.Geoffrey Summers and then, when his brother Richard required one, you were going to allot a chassis a bit later on - say March; then Geoffrey gave up his January chassis to his brother Richard, so that presumably Geoffrey would then get the March chassis. In the meantime our Mr. Robotham who has been giving very extended demonstrations to the Summers Family as you know, is anxious to clear up the position of deliveries, and says there are a number of other prospective purchasers in the family, and district. I should be glad if you would please let me know the position, and how negotiations stand, so that the matter is clear. Yours sincerely, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD., Director. | ||
