Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby,
England.

Dear Mr. Robotham:

Through an oversight your letter of February 28th, which was received on March 8th, has not been acknowledged.

We are making very fine headway with Chrysler on their clutch construction, with our molten metal instead of powdered metal, and I shall be pleased to advise you on the results.

I am glad to hear that you have had such success with your aluminium tin alloy with other companies. We finally received some of this material and are now running our tests. We are also working on bonding it to steel. We shall be glad to advise you as to the results.

With reference to your servo, I am enclosing herewith a report to me from our Chief Engineer, Mr. Palm, in which he makes certain recommendations.

Many thanks for your kind expressions of regard. I am hoping to see you this summer. "Tony" Vandervell is here with us now.

Very sincerely yours,

THE CLEVELAND GRAPHITE BRONZE COMPANY.

Ben F.{Mr Friese} Hopkins,
President.
