87960. RECEIVED 1931 JUL 3 S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Trials Car GSR-14. PN.{Mr Northey}13/WT2.7.31. After the Air Pageant, and on the following day, Grylls had an opportunity of driving this car, and he stated that the engine roughness appeared to be considerably greater, especially on over-run than some other standard cars, and suggested that if the steering column were insulated in the dash there might be considerable improvement. Is this your view, or do you find that in this way there is a certain amount of undesirable lateral movement noticeable in the column? If you think it good I will arrange to have this job done as soon as possible. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
