-2- results we require flexibility in the pistons because whatever troubles we have had with our present Std. Alua. pistons we had far more with the cast iron pistons on the silver ghost. We appear to have a design of piston - in the invar piston - in which the dimensions vary a minimum from cold to hot. This appears desirable but at the same time our experience indicates that flexibility is needed as well in order to avoid having to rely upon such fine working limits.
