RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12 24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC Order No.: P.D.23. Customer's No.: X 8664 Date: April 28th 1928 Dynamo With Higher Average Output. As an immediate step towards satisfying customers who require dynamos having higher average outputs, a modified wide brush machine was borrowed from the Test department with a view to ascertaining whether this type of machine would meet the case. The particular machine borrowed, O.M.25.M., had been rejected by the Test department, on account of the output being too high. On being received the machine was run without alteration, and the excessive output confirmed. The position of the control brush was then altered so as to reduce the output to within the maximum permissible, and the performance curve again taken. Signed Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
