To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. to CJ. X.3362. EFC1/AT6.6.19. X.2048. X.3231. BIJUR DYNAMO. X 3362 We are sending into the Stores the Bijur Dynamo with instructions for this to be despatched to you. this is arranged with a resistance in series with the field circuit, equal in magnitude to the resistance of the field circuit so as to make the machine suitable for running at 12 volts. Of the three wires leading out from the machine the unknotted one is the comman negative both of the armature and of the field circuit. The heavy knotted one is the armature positive and the light knotted one is the field positive, so that you can employ an additional field regulator external to the machine. There is, of course, no vibrator regulator with the machine. We attach a photostat copy of curves showing the (1) Approximate open circuit voltages. (2) Current out-put of the machine to a 12 volt battery. EFC. | ||
