For the attention of Mr.Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

We enclose a proposed scheme of the Jack brackets designed for your new chassis together with detail FJ.529 and 30/2. It will be observed that the Jack bracket on this assembly is mounted on the upper side of the radius arm whereas before it was on the underside. This will necessitate an alteration to the buffer plate and removing approximately ¼" from the rubber.

From the prints you left with us we are unable to ascertain the position of the cross steering tube in the elevation view but we anticipate that this will not be a fouling point for the Jack. We have shown on the scheme drawing the fouling point mentioned also the shape of the buffer plate.

To avoid any delay we have put these brackets in hand and we shall be glad if you will reply at the earliest possible moment to ensure these are satisfactory.

We should also be glad to receive an order for these brackets.

Yours faithfully,
AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY LTD.

G.Van Vestraut,
Chief Engineer.
