-2- clean insulator without disturbing oxide film or plug points. Determine whether this causes trouble. If not, then clean points, to see if this effects a cure. 9. Obtain voltage figures on the same engine with clean plugs and the same plugs, at intervals of 1,000 miles until the trouble has developed. Tests A.{Mr Adams} 1, 2, 3, & 4 should be carried on cars with economical carburation settings. Tests B. 5, 6 & 7 should be made on an experimental chassis with economical carburation and after the plug trouble has developed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev.
