Dear Sirs, We confirm the writer's visit to you on Friday last the 6th instant, when a special 6-HZD11-G battery was tested in the cold chamber in order to demonstrate the starting effort when cold. Conclusive efforts were not obtained because the discharge rates were on the high side owing to the type of oil in the engine, and it was arranged that you would change the oil and let us have a report on these special batteries in due course. We confirm having handed to you copy of our Curve No. C.206 showing the period of discharge available at various rates of discharge for our 6-HZD9-S, 6-HZD11-S & G and 6-GLD13-SR batteries. We are getting out particulars of the small box which we are using in our Test House for obtaining discharge characteristics on batteries only, at low temperatures, and we will forward these to you in due course. Yours faithfully, PETO & RADFORD. E.S. Chapman. | ||
