Bentley Over-riders.
Your ref: E/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}8/MN.8.3.37.

We have now been able to deal with the points you mentioned to us.

The J.R. Engineering Co. were asked to quote for over-riders to your design and quoted

(a) a tool charge of £30.
(b) 9/- net per pair of over-riders in lots of 250 pairs.

We explained the position to the Administration and showed them the sample pair of Wilmot-Breeden over-riders temporarily mounted on a car.

They did not dislike the appearance of these and considered it was not worth while spending more money with the J.R. Eng. Co. in order to obtain an exclusive design.

Consequently, if you are satisfied there are no technical objections to the use of over-riders on the stabilising bumper, will you kindly arrange to standardise the Wilmot-Breeden pattern.

We are returning your sample pair of over-riders herewith.
