| Oy2-E-42226 -2- April 22, 1926. We have cabled Na.{Mr Nadin}April 21st as follows:- "Referring my cable April Fifth further improvement making car ride like Silver Ghost achieved by shackling springs at rear using present standard shackle stop. No apparent tendency to wobble or disadvantage in braking Steering greatly improved." We are building MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}-1 (Experimental car for 1701) with shackles in front, but are bearing in mind that it may prove necessary at 1701 to revert to our present standard shackling to avoid trouble in springing and steering.
