AW/EM3/L12413 -3- The axle tubes on G.2682 are about same diameter as standard car T.T's and are .150 thick as against .125 in latter. I am getting out a new scheme which I hope to forward in a day or two but thought I would like to bring, the above facts before your notice, more especially that the outside dia. of T.T. on light axle at axle box was simply made to suit the design and is not a measure of the strength of torque tube as against axle tubes.
