RECEIVED 1932 SEP 23 Automatic Tappets - J.3. ------------------------- Please receive herewith drawing LeC.3213 showing modified plungers to be tried experimentally. Scheme 1 should be tried first, and the plungers made without, and with the labrynth grooves. Although we prefer scheme 2 as the leakage factor is better, we think there may be some slight difficulty in getting the spring at the bottom of the plunger made to the dimensions required. However, these rectangular section springs should be ordered up at once, so that we are in a position to eventually try scheme No.2. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
