DASHBRACKET 3RD CROSS MEMBER. No vertical component. These tests if not in themselves of any intrinsic value should prove useful in comparison with similar observations on a stiffer chassis. It is proposed to try bracing the 2nd. and 3rd. cross members diagonally to see if this materially alters the tendency of the frame to distort horizontally.
