-2- speeds you can attain on the road and whether you have any signs of crankshaft critical speed when you are running under favourable conditions. With regard to the slipper wheel, we are working on it this end and should certainly like to know whether this has become worse since it left Derby because Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} considered that it was passable on the run down to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. The point we make is that every P.2. slipper wheel has a certain amount of rattle yet no-one complains. Do you think that the 25 HP. slipper wheel is worse than this? We are getting on very well with the gear box and have improved the noise. Additionally we have overcome the trouble of the reverse gear coming out. We are anxious that we should get some miles as soon as possible as we expect the car to be back before Christmas. He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
