Please receive herewith: E.CD.1312 - Modified Throttle Controls - Bentley V.{VIENNA} Although the hand mixture controls have been thrown away to cure a rattle in the steering column, the rattle still persists, and it is now stated that the throttle hand control is the cause; we have therefore altered the geometry of the controls in accordance with a test made by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} on chassis 9.B.V. for which a cure of the rattle is claimed. The design modifies the previous drawings E.CD.1205/6 and E.CD.1260. Will you please detail and instruct with a view to using these controls on production B.V. cars. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
